# Pabbly Connect

Pabbly Connect links events in other apps — a form submission, a new order, a CRM stage change — to ApproveThis, creating a request when the event fires and sending the decision back so the next step in Pabbly can run. This guide covers the ApproveThis side: opening a request that arrived from Pabbly Connect and approving it. It's written for Administrators. You'll need a request already waiting on you as an approver.

**Who this is for:** admin.

> **Prerequisite:** Sign in as a user with one of these roles: admin.

> **Getting here:** A request that Pabbly Connect created shows up wherever your other requests do — the workflow's request list, your inbox, and the approval email. Open it from any of those.


## Open the request that arrived from Pabbly Connect and approve it

When a Pabbly Connect workflow creates a request, someone still has to make the decision in ApproveThis — and that decision is what Pabbly sends onward to the next step. Approving here is what releases the rest of the automation.

1. Sign in with your ApproveThis account as an Administrator.
2. Click **Approve** to record your decision on the request.

> **Success cue:** The request confirms your decision with **You Approved This Request**.

> **What happens next:** Approving or denying is all it takes: the decision is sent to Pabbly Connect the moment it is recorded, and whatever you placed after the "Request Approved or Denied" trigger in Pabbly runs next. To set the Pabbly side up, open Pabbly Connect, add ApproveThis to a workflow, and sign in when Pabbly asks — the connection is made from there, nothing to paste in ApproveThis. Use the Create Request action to send data in (pick the workflow, then fill its fields from the previous step) and the New Request or Request Approved or Denied triggers to react. Only published workflows appear in Pabbly's workflow list.
