Login-Free Approval Links let an approver act on a request directly from the notification email — one click on the link in the message records the decision without a separate sign-in. Approval emails route through short links to signed URLs, so the approver is logged in automatically for that single action. This works on all tiers. You'll need a request already waiting on an approver, with the approval email delivered to their inbox.

Who this is for: requester.

Open the approval email in the inbox

Approvers often live in their inbox, and the approval email is where the decision starts. Finding and opening that message is what puts the one-click link in front of you.

  1. Sign in as the requester.

  2. Open the email inbox.

You're in the right message when the email shows the Approval Request Received heading.

This is the whole point of the feature: the link in the email carries a signed URL that logs the approver in just for this action, so no password prompt interrupts the decision. Auto-login does not apply if the approver has 2FA enabled or the flow requires approvers to log in — in those cases they'll be asked to sign in first.

  1. Click Approve in the email to record the decision.

The confirmation reads You approved this request. We'll let everyone know.
