Notification Preferences
Choose how you hear about approval activity — Email or In App, separately for every notification type — so the notifications you keep are the ones you actually want.

Notification Preferences let you choose how you hear about each kind of approval activity — Email or In App, set separately for every notification type. The page groups types into Requester, Approver, and Watcher notifications, and each row has its own channel selection. Preferences are per user and apply across all workflows; they can't be varied per workflow. You'll need to be signed in and on your own notification settings page.
Who this is for: admin.
Turn off email for the 'Approval Received' requester notification: remove its Email chip, then click Save in that section
When a requester notification is filling your inbox but you still want it in the app, drop the Email channel from that one row and keep the rest untouched. Note that each notification type must keep at least one channel selected, and In App delivery can't truly be switched off — unticking it still records the notification in the bell feed.

Sign in with your own administrator account (the example screenshots use the demo workspace's admin).

In the row for the notification type you want to change, click × on the channel chip you want to remove — in the example, the Email chip on the requester-side 'Approval Received' row.
Step 2 -
Click Save in that section to apply the new channel selection.
Step 3
The section confirms the change with a Saved. message.
