Zapier can turn events in other apps — a deal closing in your CRM, a form submission, a new order — into ApproveThis approval requests without writing code. Before a Zap can send anything in, ApproveThis needs a flow for those requests to land in. This guide covers creating that Zapier-triggerable flow, and is written for Administrators.

Create a workflow that Zaps can trigger

When you want a Zap to raise approval requests, the incoming events need a flow to attach to; creating one here gives your Zap a destination and a name you can recognize later. You'll need Administrator access to the workspace.

  1. Sign in as the Administrator.

  2. Go to http://app.approvethis.test:8098/integrations.

  3. Click Create Zapier Flow.

  4. In Approval Flow Name, enter a name describing the approvals this Zap will raise — e.g., CRM Deal Approvals.

  5. Click Create Approval Flow.

The new flow appears under the name you entered — CRM Deal Approvals in the example.
