The Template Library gives you 146 ready-made approval workflows, each arriving with a complete pre-built form, so you don't design one from a blank page. It's for Administrators creating a new workflow in ApproveThis. You'll need to be on the flow-type list — the Form Library tab of the Create New Approval Flow dialog, which the full-page create route also lands on. Each library workflow builds the form only: approvers, routing rules, and conditions are always configured after the workflow exists.

Who this is for: admin.

From the 'Form Library' tab, search for onboarding and pick 'Employee Onboarding Checklist', then create the workflow

When you need a workflow for a common process — HR, finance and procurement, marketing, sales, customer operations, IT and security, engineering, legal and compliance, logistics, or education — starting from the library gives you a draft workflow with its full field set (between 5 and 14 fields, about 10 on average, including an automatically calculated request title) and a matching web form already in place. The library is one flat searchable list, so browse or search rather than looking for department groupings.

  1. Sign in as the Administrator.

  2. Click Form Library to show the 146 ready-made workflows.

  3. Type a word from the workflow you want into Search flow types... to filter the list live by name and description — the example uses onboarding. Search does not match internal tags, so use words that appear in the name or description.

  4. Click the card for the workflow you want to start from (Employee Onboarding Checklist in the example screenshots). The Configure Your Approval Flow screen opens, where you can review every pre-built field before creating anything.

  5. Enter a name for your workflow in Approval Flow Name — the example uses Employee Onboarding.

  6. Click Create Approval Flow. The workflow is created with its full field set and a matching web form, and you land on the workflow page where you add approvers, test, and publish.

The new workflow page shows Draft — testing mode., confirming the workflow exists as an unpublished draft until you test and publish it.
